Yesterday afternoon Mike, Dexter, Foxie, Chloe and I drove to our camping house. It's the get-away that Siera named as the camping house. A little place up against the mountains in Bicknell, Utah. Where is that? In Wayne County. Where is that? Right before Capitol Reef National Park. Where is that? Hey, didn't you learn anything in Utah history classes? Back to the story.
We drove home from dinner in Torrey and it was very dark. I love how I can see the star constellations here even in the early evening. No light pollution to hold me back!
When we were pulling up to the house, on the south end of the property there was a herd of deer. So cool! It is the deer season upon us, you know. I will personally hide each of them in one of my garages if that will help!
Later, as I was taking the puppies out to go potty, I was looking eye to eye with a beautiful doe across the street. There were other deer with her. My dogs didn't even pick up on them because they stood as still as could be. So very cool. So very cool.
