It's been less than 70 hours since my baby girl flew home to Alabama. She hasn't figured out that she is invincible. She had surgery, and expected to be able to fly back to Alabama the next day. She did fly back, but she was sore as can be and fragile as well. Stupid layover in Atlanta for two hours didn't help her.
BUT her spirit is strong, and her husband is amazing! He is taking care of her, doing what he should to keep her comfortable. As I look at it, he is doing what he should be doing, and I did what I should have done. I loved her, nurtured her, and prepared her to grow up and choose a wonderful mate.
