I spent some time with an aunt from Washington, D.C. who was here to visit. I couldn't wait to pull out my last album. I pulled it out and narrated each of the pages that had no journaling.

Now I need to ask myself (and you) this difficult question. If we are NOT journaling on our layouts, why are we scrapbooking? If we have to narrate your layouts as someone looks through your albums, what will happen when we're gone? Okay, I guess you could say that I'm pretty passionate about journaling! That doesn't mean, however, that I feel like I am good at it. That experience showed me I am GREAT at making spaces for my journaling, but am pretty lousy at journaling the experiences I scrapbook.
